HMRC has issued an announcement to notify traders regarding the declaration completion changes for imports of fluorinated gases effective from 1st February 2024. Please see below the verbatim message receive from HMRC.
Please be aware that these changes came into effect as of yesterday, Thursday 1st February 2024.

Changes to the declaration completion requirements for imports of fluorinated gases and items containing fluorinated gases have been implemented on 1st February 2024.
Any pre-lodged declarations for such goods which do not already include a document code to comply with the new requirements, will need to be amended before arrival. Any rejected declarations will need to be resubmitted with an appropriate document code.
