HMRC invites Members to join a forthcoming webinar related to the new set of parcel arrangements for the movement of goods between Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
The Windsor Framework establishes a new set of arrangements for the movement of goods between Great Britain and Northern Ireland via both parcels and freight. The Government is fully committed to implementing the Windsor Framework in good faith and protecting the UK’s internal market.
Following from the comms sent out on 5 November on the new parcels arrangements under the Windsor Framework (attached), we have organised an online event to help hauliers that make consumer and business parcel movements between Great Britain and Northern Ireland prepare for the new arrangements by 31 March 2025.
The webinar event will take place on Tuesday 3rd December, 11:00-12:00, and we encourage members to sign up.
The webinar will cover:
- The new arrangements for consumer and business parcels
- The UK Carrier Scheme (UKC) and how to apply
- GVMS for parcel movements
