BIFA Midlands and North of England - Regional Members' meeting (Jul 2020)
In a bid to ensure we keep in touch, that you are up to date on key issues and to maximise the time available, we will be running a series of 'subject specific' Zoom Meetings for members across the whole of the Midlands and North of England Region.
This meeting will be all about people and their development. The interactive session will be hosted by BIFA’s Training & Development Manager, Carl Hobbis.
The session will cover:
Carl will give an update on BIFA’s new online training offering, initial feedback and the plans for training in the future.
We will be joined by representatives from the two main apprentice providers for the Freight Forwarding standard. It will give participants the opportunity to ask questions about apprenticeship regulations and the landscape moving forward.
Young Forwarder Network (YFN)
In May the YFN moved online and it has become one big group, enabling young people from different regions around the country to network with colleagues from other BIFA members. Carl will explain what has happened so far and what events are planned for the rest of the year.
If you want to join this meeting please note the information below.
Prior registration for the meeting is essential via: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZ0ucuChpjwqGtMmuNKfAVuFeUwKeHMifWs0
Our hope is that we will follow this meeting with others of equal benefit such as the CDS system and EU exit, but these and others will be scheduled only as we gain greater clarity on these subjects.
We hope you can make this meeting.
If you need further information about this meeting prior to booking or any areas of importance, please do not hesitate to contact me, your Consultant to BIFA, Paul Young as soon as possible at firstname.lastname@example.org.
