Probably not! Then why not come along to the next BIFA Young Forwarder Network (YFN) event in the Midlands region. This is event is also open to all BIFA Midlands members.

Our guest speakers will be the team from Operation PANDORA (Joint Borders Intelligence Team), who are working with the shipping and forwarding trade to combat this.

They will give a fascinating and interactive insight to this huge issue with input from Border Force, Counter Terrorism Police, HMRC and the National Crime Agency. You will see real-life scenarios of criminality at the border, including terrorism, drugs, firearms, smuggled cigarettes and tobacco and organised immigration crime. You will also learn how you can protect the reputation of your business and help safeguard the public, by raising your awareness.

The YFN has been set-up to provide young members, or those new to the industry, with a platform to network with their peers, learn from industry professionals and boost their continuous professional development.

During this event, we will provide a brief update from BIFA and there will also be time to do some networking.
