BIFA YFN London East – 50 Years in Customs

The next YFN event for the London East region will take place on Wednesday 18th September, 1515 (for 1530) at Forge Club, Bank, London, when our guest speaker will be BIFA Director General, Steve Parker.
Steve has worked in the industry for five decades and has extensive knowledge in all the aspects of freight forwarding, especially anything related to Customs and the border. His main career was at DHL Global Forwarding, where he was Head of Customs for the UK.
At the end of 2022, having helped to steer the company through EU Exit, he left DHL Global Forwarding and joined BIFA in January 2023.
Attending this event gives you a fantastic opportunity to quiz Steve on all things customs, hear his passion for the logistics industry and the importance of attracting fresh talent and youth into it. It will also give you an opportunity to meet and network with likeminded people within the industry.
