BIFA YFN Port Tour: DP World Southampton

Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes at a large container port?

Then why not join us for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of DP World Southampton to find out.

DP World handles ships loaded with goods from across the world destined for British shops, businesses and consumers.

This interactive tour will cover all aspects of land-side and ship-side activity, including an outside terminal port tour to see container ships, trucks and rail freight in operation.

In addition to exploring the operational element, delegates will also leave with an appreciation of the investment taking place in an everchanging market place as ships get bigger and bigger. There will be an opportunity for delegates to field questions and also take part in some interactive learning as well.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Numbers are restricted to 14 people, so only register if you know you can make it.
• Part of this event may take place outside; appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear is essential.
• This is a working port and attendees are expected to follow health and safety instructions at all times.
• You will require photo ID on arrival. You will not be allowed on the tour without this for security reasons.
