The ceremony host, sponsored by ASM (UK) Ltd, is double Olympic Gold medallist Dame Kelly Holmes MBE and the afternoon provides a great opportunity to celebrate the best of the freight forwarding industry and network with colleagues. Tickets are now on sale at www.bifa.org/awards
Robert Keen, BIFA’s Director General, commented: “Now in its 30th year, the BIFA Freight Service Awards is rightly seen as the blue riband event for the UK’s freight forwarding and logistics sector. Once again, we have received entries from a wide variety of companies, both large multinationals as well as SMEs. Any company that wins an award knows that it can be used as a demonstration of the high standard of service it sets.”
New to the line up of award categories in 2018 is the Apprentice of the Year award sponsored by Outsource Training & Development and designed to recognise an outstanding Apprentice working within a freight forwarding environment.
The closing date for this category is Tuesday 6th November, after which finalists will be announced.
