In line with HMRC CDS Export Migration plans, Descartes Pentant will be opening the Maritime and Dover Inventory systems from Monday 4th March 10am UK for Inventory Linked CDS Export Declarations. Please see below an update from Descartes.
There are still numerous known issues with Inventory linking of CDS Exports, the Air community across all CSPs began migration first which has brought these into focus (Some users may already be involved on Air and have seen these already). We will forward anything we are allowed to share from HMRC on these work arounds soon as we get them.
It is best to check with your DEP/Shed Operator before submitting any CDS Declarations as there are known work arounds for Arrivals and Departures of consolidations which they will need to action. We hope to have details from HMRC on these to share ASAP, failure to follow work arounds will lead to Declarations being invalidated. This can happen even after Permission 2 Progress has been received.
