The closure will be taking place from Friday 15th March (9pm) until Monday 18th March (6am).
Please see below the verbatim announcement from Balfour Beatty:
We are closing part of the M25 to demolish the existing Clearmount bridge that crosses the M25 and to install a new 128 tonne overhead gantry.
To safely complete these activities, we require a full weekend closure of the M25 between Junctions 10 and 11 in both directions.
Long distance and local diversions will be in place, but drivers should look to re-route or re-time their journey or use other forms of transport. You should only drive through this area if your journey is essential.
While the M25 is closed between junctions 10 A3 (Wisley) and 11 A320 (Chertsey), motorists travelling clockwise will be diverted from the M25 at junction 10 to use the A3 northbound travelling via the A245 at Painshill and the A320 to rejoin the M25 at junction 11.
Motorists travelling anti-clockwise will be diverted from the M25 at junction 11 to join the A320, then the A245 to Painshill to use the A3 southbound to rejoin the M25 at junction 10.
