Following the forthcoming CDS update, due to be delivered on the 19th of July, CDS will start to reject declarations if the document ID or document reason is not completed, or a document status code is not declared as specified in Appendix 5A.
Please note, the document codes are existing codes and the completion requirements for them are not changing.

In order to avoid declaration rejections for shipments arriving on or after the 19th of July, all declarations should be pre-lodged according to the shared guidance.
