BIFA Regional Members Meeting – Heathrow

Dear member,

The aim of the meeting is to ensure that you are fully briefed on key issues that may impact your business and to give you the chance to share your views with fellow members.

Please note: This meeting will now take place at Kempton Racecourse.

Guest Speakers:

A senior manager from the Heathrow Airport Management group will give an update on Heathrow Cargo Community Activity including:

• Outcomes from the Sept 9th workshop on landside congestion
• Latest on the establishment of the governance structure for the working group of stakeholders for the programme to develop the Cargo Terminal and its processes

A representative from HMRC will join us to give updates on:

• Windsor Framework – UKIMS “Green Lane” access
• Safety and Security Declarations for EU Imports
• Any further planned enhancements or changes to CDS

Border Force will be in attendance and have requested that you send any questions you have for them to p.cunningham@bifa.org in advance of the meeting so Border Force can respond at the meeting.

We will have updates from the BIFA team on:

• Customs: BIFA Customs changes timeline overview – 2024-2025
• Air Freight, Surface (Ocean and Road), and Legal matters
• Environment & Sustainability: Planned legislation and implications for members
• Member Engagement: scheduled events for 2024 and Phase 2 of the Member Data Update Campaign
• Training and Development

The final agenda will be sent out the week before the meeting.

Tea, coffee and snacks will be available before and after the meeting giving members an opportunity to network with colleagues.
