If you are an Aviation Security Regulated Agent, you will have been contacted by the Department of Transport concerning Variation Direction & Guidance – Protection of Secure Cargo & Mail.
The new provisions come into force on 1st June 2024, allowing a proportionate lead-time as agreed in consultation with the industry.
Your Aviation Security Manager should have received the communication. The new provisions will form part of your Aviation Security Programme and must be reflected therein.
