BIFA vYFN – Client-led Forwarding & Staff Empowerment – Ian Mallon, MD, Neon Freight

Ian Mallon started work in freight forwarding as an 18 year old trainee after leaving 6th Form college in Eccles, Manchester. In 2012 after working in a number of roles across the industry, he founded Neon Freight in a small office above a shop in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. The aim of the business was freight forwarding “without the fuss” and to show to people that freight is a “people business” rather than just a numbers game.

In this presentation, Ian will talk about the importance of staff empowerment to respond to client requirements and get the job done.
