Please see below a message received from HMRC:
We apologise for the technical issues customers were experiencing with the Customs Declaration Service (CDS) since Sunday 24 March.
These issues have been resolved and the system is now fully operational. Contingency plans for CDS will be stood down from 13:30 on 27 March, and processes will return to business as usual.
Where goods were moved away from the frontier under customs control, declarations should now be made and arrived in CDS.
We apologise for any inconvenience and will continue to work closely with customers to ensure minimal disruption.
