Safety in the maritime containerised world
As part of its 2024 series of webinars BIFA is very pleased to welcome Mike Yarwood to discuss the safety in the maritime containerised supply chain Mike is the Managing Director for TT Club’s Loss Prevention department.
Mike has been with the TT Club since 2010 and is now Managing Director Loss Prevention tasked with delivering the club’s mission of Making the global transport & logistics industry safer, more secure and more sustainable. Mike is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Logistics & Transport, Member of Chartered Insurance Institute, Specialist member of the Institute of Risk Management, a former Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor and National CPC holder.
There are three main strands to this event:
* initial checking of documents,
* identifying non-compliant freight,
* steps to take to regularise cargoes.
The meeting will also consider the importance of correctly incorporating the BIFA STC in contracts with your clients to maximise their protective benefits.
