BIFA Regional Members Meeting – Avonmouth

Dear member, BIFA are reintroducing the Avonmouth Regional Meeting.

You are invited to join us on the 5^th December 11:00 at the Davies Turner site, Western Freight Terminal Fifth Way. Our thanks to Davies Turner for supporting this event.

The aim of the meeting is to ensure that you are fully briefed on key Avonmouth issues that may impact your business and to give you the chance to share your views with fellow members.

• Update on Avonmouth Docks and Bristol Airport activities and plans
• BIFA Airfreight updates: IATA/FIATA, aviation security, ICS2
• BIFA Surface (Ocean and Road) updates: Consortia Block Exemption Regulation (CBER), Longer Trailers on UK Roads, Container and RORO markets
• BIFA Customs updates: CDS including Import Easements – 999L & buyer/seller, Exports Non inventory / inventory linked, go live deadlines, revalidation of credentials (tokens), NCTS 5, BTOM, Representation and Establishment
• Legal Policy Group update: Electronic Trade Data Act, handling of insurance claims, Russian iron / steel additional controls
