BIFA Regional Members Meeting – Avonmouth

Join us at the event for updates and discussions about the key issues impacting your business and to share your views with fellow members, our guest speakers and the BIFA team.

Guest Speakers:

A senior manager from the Heathrow Airport Management group and Steve Parker, BIFA Director General, will explain how the steering and working groups will operate for the Heathrow Community Group driving the redevelopment of cargo operations:

➔ How working group topics are selected and activated
➔ How you, as a BIFA member, can join working groups and contribute
➔ How BIFA will represent the views of all our members
➔ What communications and key events are planned for Q1 2025 from the Heathrow Community management and from BIFA

Richard Steeples, Head of FEDAT (Freight Engagement and Data Lead) Border Force, will give an update and take questions on Safety and Security.

Adnan Zaheer from iCustoms.ai will give a presentation on how AI can be used for Trade Compliance processes and respond to questions from the members.

Steve Parker will give an update on the CCS UK working group activity on the electronic capture of AWB and CSD data.
