BIFA Regional Members Meeting – Heathrow

Members will receive information on BIFA activity with HM Revenue and Customs and other Governmental/regulatory bodies at national level. The meeting may include a presentation or representation from such external bodies.

The meeting will also include updates on other key areas of local activity.

Attendees will have an opportunity for a two-way dialogue between members and the Association and to raise issues of concern or interest.

• IATA/FIATA, aviation security, ICS2 – Speaker David Stroud
• Update on the formation of the Heathrow Airport working group which will influence the future development of the Cargo Terminal – Speaker David Stroud
• Update from National Highways on key road developments impacting traffic flows around Heathrow – Speakers Thomas Beasley and Richard Gibbs
• BIFA Customs updates and Q&A session with our Policy Advisors. Topics will include CDS Exports, non inventory / inventory linked, MUCR requirements, NES changes, go live deadlines, NCTS5, BTOMS – Speakers Pawel Jarza and Igor Popovics
• Legal Policy Group update including Representation and Establishment. Russian iron / steel additional controls, Red Sea issues, Consortia Bloc Exemption Review decision progress – Speaker Paul Cunningham
• Environment and Sustainability: New BIFA Policy Group updates on legal requirements, support to members and policy group activities planned for 2024 – Speaker Mike Jones
