BIFA Regional Members Meeting – Solent

Following the successful Southampton Port Information Network (SPIN) conference in November last year, you are invited to join us for the upcoming BIFA Solent Region members meeting!

The aim of the meeting is to ensure that you are fully briefed on key issues that may impact your business and to give you the chance to share your views with fellow members.

We will be joined by guest speakers from:

South Hampshire College Group (SHCG) who will present the details of our joint programme!

DP World with updates on all port activities and developments

National Highways who will brief us on the M3 Junction 9 upgrade scheme. This scheme will bring significant benefits as well as impact traffic flows during construction. We will be advised on the schemes progress and potential timescales.

The meeting will also cover:

• Customs updates and Q&A session with our Policy Advisor
• Air freight updates: IATA/FIATA, aviation security, ICS2
• Surface (Ocean and Road) updates: inc. Red Sea operating issues
• Legal Policy Group update
• Environment & Sustainability: Update from the new Policy Group

Tea and coffee will be available from 10:30 and the meeting will end with a buffet lunch, giving the members an opportunity to network with colleagues and the guest speakers.
