BIFA YFN – Port Tour: DP World London Gateway

Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes at a large container port?

Invite one of your young colleagues to join us for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of DP World London Gateway – the UK’s most advanced port and integrated logistics hub.

London Gateway’s highly productive deep-water berths are built to handle the world’s largest vessels and its state-of-the-art technology means that it can do this in the safest, most reliable and efficient way.

This three-hour interactive tour will cover all aspects of landside and ship-side activity, including an outside terminal port tour to see container ships, trucks and rail freight in operation.

In addition to exploring the operational element, delegates will also leave with an appreciation of the investment taking place in an ever-changing marketplace as ships get bigger and bigger.

There will be an opportunity for delegates to field questions and take part in some interactive learning as well.

• Numbers are restricted to 30, so only register if you know you can make it.
• You must bring valid photo ID for access to the port. No photo ID, no entry!
• Part of this event will take place outside, appropriate outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear is essential.
