Regional Members Meeting – Gatwick

Dear member, you are invited to join the BIFA Gatwick Regional Meeting to be held on MS Teams on November 21^st 11:30 to 13:00.

The aim of the meeting is to ensure that you are fully briefed on key Gatwick issues that may impact your business and to give you the chance to share your views with fellow members.

The agenda will include the following topics:

• Key points from the BIFA Business Leaders meeting of October 19^th
• BIFA Airfreight updates: IATA/FIATA, aviation security, ICS2 and Gatwick Airport Developments
• Update from Port Health / APHA
• BIFA Customs updates: CDS including Import Easements – 999L & buyer/seller, Exports Non inventory / inventory linked, go live deadlines, revalidation of credentials (tokens), NCTS 5, BTOM, Representation and Establishment
• ASM update
• Legal Policy Group update: Electronic Trade Data Act, handling of insurance claims, Russian iron / steel additional controls
• Environment and Sustainability: New BIFA Policy Group, collaboration with Pledge, Regulation changes: CBAM – places a rate onto certain goods imported into EU, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) EU 2025, Sustainability Disclosure Standard (SDS) UK.
