Solent SPIN Meeting

BIFA in conjunction with CNS will be holding the first Southampton Port Information Network (SPIN) meeting, post pandemic.

This free to attend meeting will provide updates on the latest activity in the port as well as provide time for networking with industry colleagues.

Speakers will include:

· Border Force will discuss examinations in the docks, looking for prohibited goods and international trade documentation, and licence requirements.

· BIFA will update you on upcoming customs changes, training & plans to establish a Young Forwarder Network (YFN) in the region.

· CNS will provide a business update and demonstrate the new Port Community System (PCS) which will replace Compass in the near future.

· DP World will present latest information regarding port activities and the recently introduced Modal Shift Programme.
