Inclusive training for members – coming soon
As mentioned in the subscription renewal letters that went out in November, we are creating a variety of bitesize eLearning courses will be available for full members to be accessed via www.bifa.org in mid-January 2025. There will be no limit on learners per member.
Access to BIFA Bitesize is available to all full trading members of BIFA, as part of their membership subscription.
To start with, there will be extracts from our freight forwarding and customs essentials courses giving an overview of the following subjects. The first batch of these will be available when the portal goes live.

- Incoterms
- Inward Processing
- Outward Processing
- Customs Warehousing
- Classification
- Return Goods Relief
- Paying HMRC
- Procedure Codes
Around the same time, working with our policy and compliance team, we have also crafted a ‘CDS Compliance Bitesize’ course, the first part is mandatory and based around an import home-use declaration.
By the end of Q1, we will add additional regimes as optional modules that a learner can do if they have completed the core part. The optional modules centre about the different elements specific to these regimes to an import home use declaration.
